Translator internship

The Translator Internship project, launched by the Hlumisa Rural Health Foundation, aims to raise funds to train medical translators for Isilimela Hospital. With a significant portion of the hospital staff not speaking IsiXhosa, these translators are essential for patients to understand their health and diagnosis, as well as to effectively communicate any issues they may be experiencing. This project is crucial in ensuring that all patients receive the necessary care and support, regardless of language barriers.
